Since 1998 the Children's Culture Centre Kuddelmuddel has been organising the Kinderklangwolke (Children's Sound Cloud) in co-operation with a variety of creative artists and team colleagues. The Danube Park by the Brucknerhaus is transformed every year into a huge event area where families can romp about with their children in an informal atmosphere. For almost two decades this „little sister“ of the Linz Klangwolke has brought a succession of themes relevant to children onto an open-air stage – a gift to everyone interested in culture, of whatever age, origin or social status.
Whether rain or shine, the last two Children's Klangwolken in 2018 and 2019 (Beautiful, colourful world!? and The Little Prince in Linz) enjoyed impressively high public attendances. Part of their success was certainly due to the fact that the children could not only watch, but also join in the perfomance and its preparation, whether as dancers, musicians, presenters or writers. The Children's Klangwolke 2020 has also been conceived with children for children and their families of all generations, who don't need to bring anything with them but a good measure of (childlike) curiosity.
